Role Overview
Role Description
This role involves handling highly sensitive and complex claims, typically exceeding $100,000 across all coverage features. Regional travel will be required to support the needs of the claims organization in our footprint.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all aspects of home residential claim adjustment, demonstrating a high level of competency and independence. The candidate will act as a liaison between the policy holder and various other parties ensuring timely and accurate resolution of claims. As part of an experienced fast-paced team, you will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service while contributing your expertise to enhance processes and strengthen our company culture.
Required to obtain and maintain claims adjusting licenses in NY, NH and CT
Proficiency in Xactimate X1
Knowledge of the home residential construction industry including terminology
Strong knowledge of claims processes, homeowners policies, and state compliance regulations
Familiarity with water mitigation auditing programs
Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean record
