Role Overview
Role Description

The Associate Subrogation claims representative is responsible for investigating, pursuing, and recovering funds from responsible third parties for losses paid on behalf of insureds. This role focuses on timely identification of recovery opportunities, effective negotiation, and consistent execution of subrogation best practices to maximize recovery outcomes. Contact all responsible claimants and insurance carriers to ensure timely recoveries. Prepare and send demands to third parties identified in investigations. Submit claims for authority approval when applicable. Negotiate settlement within assigned authority. Participate in proactive team activities to achieve departmental and company objectives. Collaborate with team members in roundtable discussions and case settlement discussions. The representative is expected to manage a caseload of low complexity claims with oversight, applying sound judgment while ensuring accurate documentation, effective communication, and adherence to regulatory and company standards.
