A Homeowner Claims Director is a senior operational leader responsible for setting strategy and driving performance across multiple claims teams spanning desk, field, and specialized functions. Reporting to executive leadership, this role oversees frontline leaders and their teams, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, timely, and compliant claim outcomes while meeting service, efficiency, and financial objectives. The Director translates organizational priorities into actionable strategies, leveraging data and analytics to identify trends, address performance gaps, and implement sustainable improvements across the operation.

This role is a catalyst for innovation and change, responsible for advancing claims capabilities through process improvements, technology adoption, and talent development. The Director coaches and develops Supervisors and Team Leads, builds bench strength, and establishes a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, fairness, and continuous improvement. They maintain strong cross-functional partnerships and serve as a key escalation point for complex issues, including regulatory matters and Department of Insurance inquiries. Success in this role requires deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence outcomes at both the operational and strategic levels.

Deep knowledge of coverage, policy forms, estimating and regulatory requirements across claim types
Leads process improvements, technology adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives
