The Senior Agency Trainer is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of high-impact training programs, facilitating both in-person and virtual sessions for our independent agents. This role is essential in driving sales and ensuring the successful adoption of new products, technology, and system enhancements. Senior Trainers operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing training development and content independently while proactively recommending new courses and curriculum updates to address evolving business needs.

Instructional Delivery & Design: 

  • Independent Development: Proven ability to create and manage training content from scratch without heavy supervision. 

  • Presentation Excellence: Skilled at commanding a room (or a virtual meeting) to ensure information is retained and applied. 

Interpersonal & Cultural Excellence: 

  • Active Listening & Friendliness: Uses a approachable demeanor and strong listening skills to identify agent pain points during training sessions. 

  • Problem Resolution: Addresses agent questions or technical hurdles in real-time during training delivery. 

  • Cultural Alignment: Acts as an ambassador of the company's values and cultural statement. 

Intellectual Curiosity: 

  • Continuous Learning: Maintains a deep interest in how our products and technology work to stay ahead of agent questions.

KPIs

Performance is measured by the scale of training efforts and the subsequent boost in partner performance: 

  • Training Volume: Total number of agency trainings held and number of agents trained. 

  • Sales Impact: Driving a measurable increase in new business production from the agencies that receive training.

Learning and Development

The following training/certifications are required for this role:

  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in LMS (Learning Management Systems) and specialized training design software. 

  • Professional Credentials: P&C License and ATD Certification. 

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Comprehensive mastery of internal systems, product details, and presentation facilitation. 

The following training/certifications are an advantage for this role:

  • Internal systems training

  • Underwriting training
