Role Overview
Role Description
The Underwriter is an experienced professional expected to make sound, complex underwriting decisions by utilizing advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. A primary focus of this role is effectively managing a dedicated book of business and nurturing relationships with agency principals and Business Development Representatives (BDRs). You will be expected to maintain high service levels, handle escalations, and contribute to process improvement through participation in back-end project initiatives like User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
