Who are we?

The Underwriting team serves as the risk experts of the company, responsible for evaluating potential and current policyholders to determine acceptable risk levels and appropriate pricing. They are responsible for interpreting insured and agency analytics, working collaboratively across the organization, executing, and creating processes to identify and address Rate Evasion.   Underwriting works internally with Claims, Sales, Product and Customer Service and directly with insureds and agencies to resolve findings.  Reviewing and evaluating Automobile, and Personal Umbrella new business applications, renewals and endorsements for completion, accuracy, and compliance with underwriting guidelines.  They provide underwriting support and direction to agencies to improve growth and profit objectives while conducting High Loss Ratio agency activities and execution of agency audits.
