Role Overview
Role Description
The Underwriting Team Lead is a leader responsible for driving team knowledge and consistency. This role requires analyzing and interpreting advanced data to identify and address complex risks like Rate Evasion. You will lead mentorship and training efforts, maintain all training material, and perform quality audits (QA). The Lead acts as the point of contact for internal partners like Marketing, collaborating to strategically position our agencies and managing high-level project initiatives.

Training Leadership: Be the lead trainer for new UW associates and maintain all training material, focusing on the ability to "Teach vs. Tell."

Management Acumen: Functions as a Supervisor in Training with the ability to successfully run a team meeting if necessary and manage workflow (WS flows).

Deliver QA results to staff in a coaching framework.

Maintain documentation of departmental procedures (SOPs).
