Role Overview

Role Description

The Sales Operations Specialist I consistently meets or exceeds the responsibilities of the prior role. This individual acts as a resource for peers for questions and training, handles more complex tasks, and proficiently troubleshoots operational issues. Specialists I take on responsibilities as part of a project team and actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to problem-solve and enhance sales support processes.

Key Skills & Competencies

The focus for this role is on system mastery, increased accuracy, and team support: 

Technical Mastery & Accuracy: 

  • Quoting Proficiency: Proficient in quoting for 6 states using the Agent Web platform. 

  • System Fluency: Proficient in using the core policy systems: Polstar and Policy Pro. 

Team Support & Collaboration: 

  • Mentorship/Resource: Ability to act as a go-to resource for peers for questions, training, and troubleshooting operational issues. 

  • Project Contribution: Capable of collaborating with other teams to solve problems and contribute effectively as part of a project team. 

Foundational Skills (Maintained): 

  • Accuracy & Organization: Maintaining a Detail-Oriented focus and Strong organizational skills. 

  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). 

KPIs

Performance is measured by increased accuracy and project timeliness: 

  • Quoting Accuracy: Achieving 95% quote accuracy or higher. 

  • Project Timeliness: Consistently meeting imposed deadlines on Sales Ops project work. 

Role Development

Learning and Development

  • System Certification: Required to demonstrate proficiency in Quoting for 6 states in Agent Web, Polstar, and Policy Pro.

  • P & C (Property and Casualty) License is an advantage.
